Hurricane Gustav Update
NASA/USDA/NFC is in charge of the facility at 13800 Old Gentilly Road. As of 09/05/2008 the facility is closed until Tuesday 9/9/2008. NODA FCU servers are still up and running at the facility. Monday 9/8/2008 only essential personnel are allowed in the facility. We would ask that everyone use Service Centers for one more day to have transactions posted to your accounts. Our essential staff will be at the office organizing and balancing our offsite transactions. Also, reviewing accounts with NSF and Member Privilege Fees to co-ordinate giving our members a break that we can evenly distribute to all members charged. These transactions do cost the Credit Union, so we will look at recouping our cost and giving members a break also. At a quick glance we are looking at reducing the fees by 50% or giving back $10 of every $20 charged.
We remain online with CU Service Centers, if you want to post a transaction to your account, click the Shared Branching link above and put in your location to find a Service Center or Credit Union Outlet near you. We are online with the network. There should be no interruption in Service Center transactions.
Our ATM/Debit Cards are processed through SouthWest Corp. Credit Union in Plano, TX and we are updating ATM balances twice a day around 9 am and then again at 2:30 each business day (Monday-Friday). Shared branching deposits made after 9 am will not be reflected on your VISA Check card until after 2:20 pm each day.
All electronic processes are being processed daily Monday through Friday.
Everything is done via the Internet and will not be interrupted. This includes Share Drafts/checks clearing your account.
